According to the study, mental health related problems like stress, anxiety, depression, burnout are increasing among low income people. Problem of burnout in office

According to a research by Future Forum, since the year 2021, burnout in the workplace has reached an all-time high level. Of the 10,000 full-time desk workers surveyed in six countries, including the United States and Britain, more than 40% admitted that they were struggling with burnout. The World Health Organization (WHO) has seen this as increasing mental distance, lack of energy and negativity in the job. When Future Forum started research on this in May 2021, 38% of employees accepted burnout, which has now reached 42%.

Work affected by stress at workplace

The World Health Organization and the International Labor Organization say that due to the stress of workers, many working hours are being wasted annually, due to which the global economy is suffering a loss of 1 trillion dollars every year. According to another research, this problem is being seen more in the finance sector. In a research conducted in 10 countries including India, 78% of the workers in the world do not see themselves progressing and improving in their jobs.

How is low salary effective?

Apart from low salary, spending too much time on social media is also not good for mental health. This is affecting not only their professional life but also their family-personal life. Gallup’s report shows that burnout figures are higher among women than men. This difference has doubled after 2019. Research has found that problems like low salary, lack of promotion and burnout due to family responsibilities are increasing more among women than men at the workplace.
