Israel Attacks Iran Middle East On Edge as Missiles Criss Cross Israel Iran
Tension in middle East: Things are rapidly moving towards war in West Asia. The largest military conflict between Iran and Israel was seen in the early hours of Saturday, when the two countries attacked each other with missiles and drones. Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused Israel of starting the war and assured the public that “our answer would not be incomplete.” At the same time, a senior Iranian official said, “Now no place in Israel is safe.”
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a strong warning saying, “This is just the beginning, there are more answers left.”
America’s interference and fears of regional war
America has also become active in this whole incident. US officials said that on Friday, the US Army destroyed several missiles fired from Iran towards Israel on the way. Commenting on this, US President Donald Trump said that “if Iran still agrees on the nuclear deal, this struggle can be stopped.” However, Iran has dismissed the possibility of any US talks, saying that “there is no meaning left of nuclear dialogue now”.
Hizbullah-Hamas inactive, but the danger still remains intact
Analysts believe that this struggle may move towards a major regional war, but this time Hamas and Lebanon of Iran’s associate organization – Gaza and Lebanon’s Hizbullah have already weakened before the last attacks of Israel. In such a situation, their participation may be limited, but it is too early to assume that the danger is averted.
